The 47th edition of Interliber, the International Book and Reading Fair, is being held from 11 to 16 November 2025, once again bringing together publishers, booksellers, authors and literature enthusiasts from across Croatia and beyond.

Admission to the event is free for all visitors.

Bhagavad-gita As It Is — now in Mongolian

When Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is was first translated into Mongolian many years ago, the translators—though sincere—had no knowledge of English, and so the text was rendered from a Russian edition. Now, with deep gratitude, we present a newly refined Mongolian edition. This translation has been carefully reviewed and re-edited directly from the original English, and the layout has been thoughtfully redesigned for a smoother, more accessible reading experience.

Trustworthy AI

“There are two kinds of organizations: those that are fueled by artificial intelligence, and those that will become fueled by artificial intelligence,” writes Kay Firth-Butterfield in her foreword to Beena Ammanath’s excellent book Trustworthy AI.

While AI is becoming indispensable to modern organizations, its true value depends on whether the AI can be trusted. That trust hinges on aligning the use of AI with the ethics and values of an organization. There is no one-size-fits-all solution.

Ethical AI isn’t just about whether we can use it; it’s about whether we should—and if so, how to do so responsibly. In our context, trustworthy AI means building tools and systems that are transparent, respectful of the original content of our books, and carefully overseen by qualified members.

AI should never replace spiritual judgment. Rather, it should serve as an assistive tool—always aligned with the mission of our organization.

We should neither adopt AI blindly nor reject it outright. Instead, we should cultivate thoughtful, value-driven frameworks for the use of artificial intelligence. In this way, AI can become a valuable tool in our hands—not a distraction.

AI-generated first-person Prabhupada chatbots and simulations—both with and without cloned versions of Prabhupada’s voice—are already emerging worldwide, raising serious concerns.

To address these developments, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust formed an AI Advisory Group, which is currently drafting a set of guidelines and strategies for the use of AI.
